"Fostering a Culture of Employability and Enterprise" Seminar

Birmingham City University, City Centre Campus.


On Friday 20th April the Centre for Recording Achievement will hold its first Employability and Enterprise seminar at Birmingham City University. This event will include sessions from experts in employability and enterprise as well as sessions to enable participants to enhance their employability and enterprise provision. At the end of the seminar the CRA’s new programme to support individual staff will be launched. This CPD Employability and Enterprise programme will enable colleagues to develop their knowledge and skills further and, following an assessment of their portfolio, will receive a CPD Certificate to acknowledge their employability and enterprise achievements.

Employability and Enterprise Case Study One: Hartpury University Centre; Gill Reindl, Director of Employability and Industry Partnerships.









Fostering an Employability and Enterprise Culture; What to do and how to do it! Steve Outram, CRA Director.





Belonging, Employability and Retention: a curious combination? - Case Study Two: Luke Millard, Director of Education Development, Birmingham City University




Employability and Enterprise Case Study Three: Manchester Metropolitan University; Haleh Moravej, Senior Lecturer, Nutritional Sciences, Founder, MetMUnch. 






Keynote: Developments in an Evolving Transferable Pedagogy: This would include both work in the UK and the Middle East, developing an Enterprise Culture to enhance the Employability prospects of both students and their local economies. Professor Mike Clements, Emeritus Professor Staffordshire University.
